Christmas is my favourite time of the year. I just love Christmas carols, hot chocolate with marshmallows, coming home to my lovely family, waking on Christmas mornings to delicious wafting mom-made breakfast spreads and an infinite number of gifts (with my name, yay!) under the Christmas tree. (Yes I am 25 years old, but opening my X-mas gifts still continues to give me cheap thrills.) :-) This year, we had all the more reasons to celebrate Christmas because my mom and dad celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. They surprised me and my younger brother by giving us some cash to buy gifts of our choice. A finicky shopper (read: pretentiously penny pinching) that I am, I decided to spend my money wisely (yes, believe it or not) on something that will be useful and (as always) classy. ;-) I went through my bucket list and found one item that had been sitting there and staring longingly at me for almost 2 years now.

I decided it was going to be my self-indulgent ‘sin’ of choice. So a pair of Designer Glasses were going to be a gift from my parents. I had been looking forward to getting designer spectacles since the day I knew I needed Rx glasses. However, I didn't have enough savings to splurge on a designer frame and I hardly had the time to go to High Street stores for getting my prescription glasses, so I had settled for affordable eyeglasses back then. Now that I had the money and the time & will to shop till I drop (Thank God for the Holidays) <3<3<3, I went on a shopping spree. Within just 60 minutes I had added two trench coats, 3 pairs of boots, 2 handbags and a pair of Swarovski earrings to my existing collection of designers. (I am a label hoarder. That should explain a lot.) :-p I was about to buy the most gorgeous Dior prescription glasses when I realised I couldn’t afford them anymore. (Yeah I am a certified impulsive shopper and blew my money on things that weren’t even required.) :-( :-( I couldn’t think about letting those glasses go, nor did I want to return some of the items that I had bought. (Come on, talk about huge savings on the holiday sales) This was a Catch-22 like situation. Just then I had a brilliant idea. I resolved to check optical websites in order to buy my designer glasses online.

I decided to shop from my favourite eyewear website in the UK - Perfectglasses.co.uk. A few years back, I had already bought affordable prescription glasses online from them at a very reasonable price. Now I was very keen to try designer glasses at Perfect Glasses. Buying designer glasses online can have innumerable benefits. For starters you get to choose from a wide variety of frames.
